2013 Ardent Academy Summer Research Institute sent eight students to 2013 California State Science Fair.  A total of 10 students received awards at district, county, and state level. 

All participants of 2012 Summer Research Institute participated in school or district science fair with eight students advance to the 2013 California State Science Fair. In local competitions, Benjamin Chen, Vinson Luo, Andrew Ninh, and Jennifer Yao received first place at county science fair. Additionally, at least ten other Ardent students participated in 2013 Orange County Science & Engineering Fair.

NOTE: For projects conducted at institutes of high learning, Ardent Academy provided various services such as identifying research labs that meet a student's interest, developing strategies to find faculty mentors, and providing ongoing advice, mentoring, and support during research while students conduct their research at these labs.
