Speech and Debate enhances a student's public speaking skills. In this program, students will learn how to become effective communicators, avid researchers, and critical thinkers.

Students will explore a number of different nationally competitive events, including Public Forum, Lincoln Douglas, and Extemporaneous Speaking. Introduction courses are for novices; level placement in Intermediate or Competitive is typically for students who have completed an Ardent Speech and Debate Introduction course, or based on instructor assessment.
