The USA Physics Olympiad and the USA Biology Olympiad each select the national team that represents the United States at its international olympiad. Both begin with an open exam taken by high school students across the country, and only the top scorers advance to the semifinal round. In 2024, nine Ardent students were USAPhO semifinalists and three were USABO semifinalists.
