The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are the Mathematical Association of America's high school contests, and the first step toward the USA Mathematical Olympiad. This year two Ardent students earned perfect scores: Benjamin on the AMC 10 and Andrew on the AMC 12.
Fifty Ardent students earned a Certificate of Distinction, which the MAA awards for qualifying for the AIME, the next step in the series. Twenty-four were named to the Honor Roll, for scores in the top 5% nationally, and twenty-eight received a Certificate of Achievement, which recognizes high scores by younger students.
