Ardent Academy ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through our website www.ardentacademy.com, our learning platform at solve.ardentlabs.io, and in person at our learning center at 820 Roosevelt, Irvine, CA 92620.

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you enroll a student, register for a class, contact us, or use our learning platform. This may include:

SMS Messaging
When you provide a mobile phone number during enrollment, you consent to receive text messages from Ardent Academy related to your account and your student's classes. We use SMS for the following purposes:

What we collect
Your mobile phone number, the time and content of messages we send, and delivery status returned by your carrier. We do not collect message content from you unless you reply to one of our messages.
Who we share it with
We share your phone number with Twilio, our SMS service provider, solely for the purpose of delivering the messages above. Twilio's processing is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies, typically 2 to 6 messages per month per family during active enrollment. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Ardent Academy is not responsible for any carrier charges.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message, email care@ardentacademy.com, or call (949) 861-2211. After opting out you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. You will continue to receive class-related communications via email.

How we share information
We share personal information with:

Service providers that help us operate our business (e.g., payment processors, SMS provider, email provider, hosting providers). These providers are contractually limited to using the information only to perform services for us.

Children's privacy
Our services are designed for K–12 students. We collect student information only with the consent of a parent or guardian. Parents may review, request correction, or request deletion of their student's information by contacting us at care@ardentacademy.com.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Typical retention periods are seven years for tuition and payment records, and the duration of enrollment plus three years for academic records.
